It's been a while

I haven't drawn anything like this for years and years and years and wasn't really sure if I still could. It's been since elementary school anyway! Once I got into high school I started using reference photos to draw things and nothing ever really came from MY OWN imagination like this did. I'm glad that it's still in my head to be able to create art like this. I am going to continue to draw a different variety of big cats and maybe some other animals as well. The more I draw the better I will get! It will be exciting to look back in 10 years and see how far I've come. Man how I wish I would've kept up with my art my entire life, I can only imagine how good I might be now if I had.
I hope you enjoy this little piece as much as I do. He was a lot of fun to draw. As I was drawing him I was thinking that he belongs to a group of night cats that come out to play under the stars every night. All of their group has similar sort of tribal markings along with some spots. Only the leaders have stripes which as you can see he has some on his tail. I'm not very good at thinking of names and wish I could give him one but I just can't come up with anything at the moment. I'm open to any ideas though.
